The much anticipated 2020 US Presidential came to an end with the projections of Biden’s victory finally announced by mainstream media outlets on Nov. 7th. Although President Trump has yet to concede and vows to pursue legal actions, President-elect Joe Biden has been charging ahead with his succession plan. Western world leaders expressed excitement and sent congratulatory messages. China’s leadership congratulated Biden and Harris a bit late. The closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston and the US consulate in Chengdu marks a historical low in US-China Relations. Nevertheless, with photos of the President-elect eating soybean paste noodles trending on Chinese social media, we are seeing optimism among the Chinese community for better U.S-China relations. At this key inflection point, our webcast will provide an outlook into US-China Relations beyond 2021. Based on projected or known US and Chinese domestic, foreign and economic policies, what will be the new era of US-China relations?

备受期待的2020年美国总统选举以11月7日主流媒体预测拜的登胜利而告终。尽管特朗普总统还未官方承认竞选结果并表示会诉诸法律，总统当选人拜登正按部就班的开展他的继任计划。西方世界的领导人先后发来贺电，中国领导人对对拜登和哈里斯当选为总统和副总统的贺电发得有点迟。中国驻休斯敦领事馆和美国驻成都领事馆的关闭标志着中美关系正经历前所未有的考验。然而，随着拜登候选人在北京访问的照片在中国社交媒体的‘走红’，华人群体对中美关系‘回暖’的乐观态度不言而喻。在这个关键的转折点，我们希望与您一同展望2021年后的美中关系。基于中美双方已或可预期的外交和经济等政策，中美关系将会走向怎样的新时代?
